Acquisition

In April 2021, Vela Industries Group (VIG), announced the acquisition of Qmuzik Technologies, a South African-based software development company renowned for its specialized enterprise solutions across various industries, including Qmed Health & Hygiene Management Software.

Qmed provides a long-term solution for injury and disease management, occupational health programmes, risk-based medicals and electronic health records.

Following its acquisition by Vela Software in March 2023, Qmed became part of Vela Sustainability Technologies (VST), the sustainability division under Vela Industries Group (VIG). This transition aligns with VST’s mission to support industries with innovative solutions that drive safety, compliance, and sustainable operational practices.
