Acquisition
In April 2024, Vela Industries Group (VIG), through its subsidiary Datamine, announced the acquisition of Samtech, a leading Chilean company specializing in fleet management, machine performance, and telematics software and hardware. This strategic move aims to enhance VIG’s asset management solutions and expand its global reach in various industries, including mining, construction, and transportation.
Global Growth Potential

This global reach, combined with Samtech’s established expertise, positions the company for accelerated growth and increased market share.

Samtech’s innovative solutions and established market presence complement VIG’s existing offerings, providing a solid foundation for global expansion and increased value to customers across various industries.
